Dear
Vision Board & Alumni:
As a
recent graduate of the Vision Leadership St. Charles County,
I want to offer you, my sincerest thanks for the scholarship
that I received. In the past, I attended chamber meetings where
the Vision Program was discussed and became interested in participating.
The more I learned the more eager I was to be a part of it.
Your generosity allowed me to do so.
Vision
was a wonderful learning experience. It has made me a better
person and employee. I have made friends and contacts that I
hope carry on well into the future. I look forward to working
with Vision students for years to come. I hope to mentor them,
on their journey, as they develop relationships with leaders
in our community.
Sincerest
thanks,
2009
Class Graduate
John,
I'm sorry you missed the retreat also, it was great meeting
everyone and I had a lot of fun, but I would have chosen to
go on my vacation if I were in your spot also!
There was a lot that happened, that I'm sure everyone can add
to, but I thought I'd add my favorite memories of bonding as
a group. This had to be the 2nd day when we had to keep the
balloons above our heads for 2 whole minutes as a group...who
would have thought it would have taken 30-40 min to achieve
that task?! Also, the puzzle that was put together in 38 seconds
while in silence was amazing to me, and the 3 bears passed in
a pattern while addressing the person you were passing it to
and thanking the person that handed it to you being done in
3 seconds was a truely inspiring moment for me. LOL! This day
was much better then the first where I got hit in the head with
a washer.
Thanks for good memories guys! Hope to have more...John included!
